Throughout the development of Stepwell, we have put quite a bit of time into the site visit module. Within the module there is a workflow to streamline the staff interview process. Site visit team members can use Stepwell’s online Staff Interview form to guide their interviews with selected general and special education staff members and special education service providers. The final summary gathers and displays the results to help team members evaluate LEA practices, policies, and procedures and verify information gathered from other sources. The Staff Interview workflow is just another part of how Stepwell is helping to improve special education monitoring, which will ultimately help to improve the quality of special education.
